Kiss The Rain

Monday, Feb 4, 2013 at 15.00

The Yiruma song - Kiss the Rain is playing so tenderly.
The piano's twang bring me back to the last dance we ever had.

Why do this heart beat so fast?
Why do this tears falling down?
Why do this happen?

I though we will have chance again
Walking along the beach

Love is CHRISTMAS

"Love Is Christmas"

I don’t care if the house is packed,
Or the strings of light are broken.
I don’t care if the gifts are wrapped,
Or there’s nothing here to open.

Love is not a toy, and no paper will conceal it.
Love is simply joy that I’m home.

I don’t care if the carpet's stained; we've got food upon our table.
I don’t care if it’s gonna rain, our little room is warm and stable.

Love is who we are, and no season can contain it.
Love would never fall for that.

We sing oooooooooooooooo
Oooooooooooooo
Ooooooooooooooooooooooo

Let love lead us, love is Christmas.

Why so scared that you’ll mess it up? When perfection keeps you haunted.
All we need is your best my love, that’s all anyone ever wanted.

Love is how we do, let no judgment overrule it.
Love I look to you, and I sing.

Oooooooooooooooooo
Oooooooooooo
Ooooooooooooooooooooo
Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh
Ooooooooooooooooo

Let love lead us, love is Christmas.
Let love lead us, love is Christmas.

YA'AHOWU

For the traveller who ever visit the Nias island will be familiar with this word.
Ya'ahowu is a common greetings in Nias island. Nias island is a small island off western coast of Sumatra, Indonesia. And the original tribe named "Ono Niha" or Niasnese.

I just want to share the meaning of greeting in Nias simply. It may the common greetings when you say good morning/day/night. Ya means may and Howu is bless literally.
So, the deepest meaning of its is "may God Almighty bless you". Can you imagine how beautiful the meaning of Ya'ahowu.  A long time ago before the evangelist visit that island, the original community had been use this word to greet each other. It' s common to say to the stranger people or meeting the people at the first time even to someone you had already know well.

So, when you visit Nias Island, North Sumatra, Indonesia you may use this word "Ya'ahowu" to greet the people there.  And everytime you say it to each other you already pray for them , you already ask for their blessing. And see, how nice it is, every moment you will ask for the blessing's someone else.

So have a nice day and YA'AHOWU for you all.

Save our EARTH

The meaning of FOREST
Who is agree with this?

Regarding to climate change nowadays, the forest supposed contribute more for the long life of this earth. Many countries are facing the more or less the environmental destruction such caused by deforesting, mining, oil palm plantation, urban pollution, and so on.

Do we ever realise that we did a small action but a huge impact to our beloved earth which will be transmitted to our next generation?

Do we ever realise that we ever given a responsibility as human to keep this earth?
Or are you a victim who lose your land because of oil palm plantation?

We have witnessed the several impacts of environmental destruction on all life and the ecosystem going hand in hand with the violation of human rights and loss of cultural and spiritual identity.

Through this, I call upon young generation to strengthen their commitment in supporting communities who lose their rights and protecting those whose livelihoods are endangered by unsustainable economic lifestyles when land is taken for pure commercial use fuelled by greed and self-enrichment. The immense expansion of environmental destruction has to be stopped as soon as possible to secure the future of the next generation.

LET'S SAVE OUR EARTH.

Since 1 year ago, I had a new task for helping the Indonesian visa while many friends/colleague will travel to Indonesia. My task was not hard but for being a partner organisation,  I was prosecuted help for managing the visa.

Last may i got a new experience, we had a guest from Congo who will attend an International Conference in Indonesia. Based on previous experience, the Congolese suggested to apply the visa at nearest of Indonesian Embassy in Dar Er Salaam, Tanzania.

But I was surprised and also for the national sponsor/company who cooperated with my organisation that the Indonesian Embassy could not process/approve the visa for Congolese in Tanzania.
The new regulation is the Congolese shall be applied the visa at Indonesian Embassy in Dakar, Senegal.

After made a phone call to Indonesian Embassy, I spoke to a nice officer there. He was Mr. Eka and he was very helpful. Patiently, he told me that for approving the visa, the Director General from Jakarta must be send the letter to Indonesian Embassy in Dar Er Salaam to allow them to process the visa for Congolese. The reason was the embassy should be processed the Congolese properly is at Dakar, Senegal.

I would like to shared this to our friends from Congo, therefore they may inform the sponsor/company when they have a plan to apply in Dar Er Salaam, Tanzania.
