Love is CHRISTMAS

"Love Is Christmas"

I don’t care if the house is packed,
Or the strings of light are broken.
I don’t care if the gifts are wrapped,
Or there’s nothing here to open.

Love is not a toy, and no paper will conceal it.
Love is simply joy that I’m home.

I don’t care if the carpet's stained; we've got food upon our table.
I don’t care if it’s gonna rain, our little room is warm and stable.

Love is who we are, and no season can contain it.
Love would never fall for that.

We sing oooooooooooooooo
Oooooooooooooo
Ooooooooooooooooooooooo

Let love lead us, love is Christmas.

Why so scared that you’ll mess it up? When perfection keeps you haunted.
All we need is your best my love, that’s all anyone ever wanted.

Love is how we do, let no judgment overrule it.
Love I look to you, and I sing.

Oooooooooooooooooo
Oooooooooooo
Ooooooooooooooooooooo
Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh
Ooooooooooooooooo

Let love lead us, love is Christmas.
Let love lead us, love is Christmas.

YA'AHOWU

For the traveller who ever visit the Nias island will be familiar with this word.
Ya'ahowu is a common greetings in Nias island. Nias island is a small island off western coast of Sumatra, Indonesia. And the original tribe named "Ono Niha" or Niasnese.

I just want to share the meaning of greeting in Nias simply. It may the common greetings when you say good morning/day/night. Ya means may and Howu is bless literally.
So, the deepest meaning of its is "may God Almighty bless you". Can you imagine how beautiful the meaning of Ya'ahowu.  A long time ago before the evangelist visit that island, the original community had been use this word to greet each other. It' s common to say to the stranger people or meeting the people at the first time even to someone you had already know well.

So, when you visit Nias Island, North Sumatra, Indonesia you may use this word "Ya'ahowu" to greet the people there.  And everytime you say it to each other you already pray for them , you already ask for their blessing. And see, how nice it is, every moment you will ask for the blessing's someone else.

So have a nice day and YA'AHOWU for you all.

Save our EARTH

The meaning of FOREST
Who is agree with this?

Regarding to climate change nowadays, the forest supposed contribute more for the long life of this earth. Many countries are facing the more or less the environmental destruction such caused by deforesting, mining, oil palm plantation, urban pollution, and so on.

Do we ever realise that we did a small action but a huge impact to our beloved earth which will be transmitted to our next generation?

Do we ever realise that we ever given a responsibility as human to keep this earth?
Or are you a victim who lose your land because of oil palm plantation?

We have witnessed the several impacts of environmental destruction on all life and the ecosystem going hand in hand with the violation of human rights and loss of cultural and spiritual identity.

Through this, I call upon young generation to strengthen their commitment in supporting communities who lose their rights and protecting those whose livelihoods are endangered by unsustainable economic lifestyles when land is taken for pure commercial use fuelled by greed and self-enrichment. The immense expansion of environmental destruction has to be stopped as soon as possible to secure the future of the next generation.

LET'S SAVE OUR EARTH.

Since 1 year ago, I had a new task for helping the Indonesian visa while many friends/colleague will travel to Indonesia. My task was not hard but for being a partner organisation,  I was prosecuted help for managing the visa.

Last may i got a new experience, we had a guest from Congo who will attend an International Conference in Indonesia. Based on previous experience, the Congolese suggested to apply the visa at nearest of Indonesian Embassy in Dar Er Salaam, Tanzania.

But I was surprised and also for the national sponsor/company who cooperated with my organisation that the Indonesian Embassy could not process/approve the visa for Congolese in Tanzania.
The new regulation is the Congolese shall be applied the visa at Indonesian Embassy in Dakar, Senegal.

After made a phone call to Indonesian Embassy, I spoke to a nice officer there. He was Mr. Eka and he was very helpful. Patiently, he told me that for approving the visa, the Director General from Jakarta must be send the letter to Indonesian Embassy in Dar Er Salaam to allow them to process the visa for Congolese. The reason was the embassy should be processed the Congolese properly is at Dakar, Senegal.

I would like to shared this to our friends from Congo, therefore they may inform the sponsor/company when they have a plan to apply in Dar Er Salaam, Tanzania.

Sunset along the Suramadu Bridge

After visiting the "house of Soemporna" in Surabaya, my friend Amos, my sister Melva and I decided to change our plan. We decided to across the famous bridge in Surabaya, East Java, Indonesia. I visited the Surabaya for refreshing and felt the quite different atmosphere  compared Medan the town where I live.

Amos who is so chatty at the moment, undertook to drive acrossing the Suramadu Bridge. Suramadu is the abbreviation of “Surabaya” and “Madura”. Thus, Suramadu Bridge is a bridge which connected the city of Surabaya and Madura Island. The length of its about 5.438m; and can be passed vehicles such as cars and motorcycles in several several minutes. The road has two direction, one towards to Madura and vice versa. Based on my experience, the bridge is safe and very useful for local communities.  The local communities who lives in Madura Island can be easily to transfer their local commodities to the capital city of East Java, Surabaya. The bridge fare for one way are :
- Motorcycle, IDR. 3.000,-
- Private Car, IDR. 30.000,-
- Public transport, IDR. 40.000,-
- Freight Car, IDR. 60.000,-
The fare is cheaper than ferry fare Madura - Surabaya or otherwise.

As a longest bridge in Indonesia, surely i was not squandered the opportunity to memorize it through camera snapshot. Bridge officially started operating its use on June 10, 2009; and ceremonial inaugural ceremony held by President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono.

Indeed, Suramadu bridge worthy of being the pride of Indonesia. However, it's a one of masterpiece of the nation.  It begun constructed by the Consortium of Indonesian Contractors (CIC)in August 2003, which consists of the construction company PT Adhi Karya, PT Hutama Karya, PT Waskita Karya and PT Wijaya Karya. It is also assisted by the Consortium of Chinese Contractors consisting of Chinese companies Road and Bridge Corporation (CRBC) and the China Harbour Engineering Consultant (CHEC).

When you visit Surabaya, East Java, Indonesia, do not forget to across the Suramadu Bridge. It's one of a tourist attraction. The visitor/traveller arrived in Madura Island, along the road you will presented with the sight of Madura handicraft.

I'd Like by Freshly Ground

When I heard this song, my imagination took me back turn on you.

Through this, let the time will reveal all of these questions.

Just for you...enjoy it.

What would you do if I kissed you?
What would you do if I held your hand and laid you down?
Would you find me overly familiar towards you?
Would you call me insensitive, and say that I deserve to die?

What do I do with all these feelings tearing me up inside?
What do I do with all these wasted hours dreaming of you at night?
I' d like to call you sometime…

What would you do if you knew the truth?
What would you do if I told you the story of my life?
Would you find me overly familiar towards you?
Would you call me crude, fling me aside to the birds?

What do I do with all these feelings holding me back inside?
What do I do with all these wasted hours dreaming of you at night?
I'd like to call you sometime
I'd like you to need me one time
I’d like to call you sometime

What would you do if I kissed you?
What would you do if I held your hand and laid you down?
Would you recognize it’s a need I've been fighting for so long?
Would you recognize it’s a hunger only you can fill?

What do I do with all these feelings warming me up inside?
What do I do with all these glorious hours dreaming of you at night?
Coz I'd like to call you sometime
I'd like you to need me one time
I'd like to have you all the time
I'd like to call you...

Chance

Jan 02, 2012 - 0300hrs

Definition or the Chance:
* Something that happens unpredictably without discernible human intention or observable cause
* the assumed impersonal purposeless determiner of unaccountable happenings : luck <an outcome decided by chance>

According to the definition above, I would like to invite you to count how many time per day do you found something called "chance"?
Or how many times do you lost your chances?

In my mind, every second, every minute, every hour, every day, I  called it as a CHANCE
Every moment that I shared is a CHANCE
Every breath that I took is a CHANCE
So, I can't counting how many chance i faced during my life..it's something uncountable for me.

Then, how does CHANCE could be very influence someone?

Response of each person when loss or receive CHANCE may different. There are a positive and negative response. While someone receives something called chance, they may be very thankful, happy, laugh, it's look like fly to the seventh sky. But while they loss it, they may depression, mad, cry, protest, blame, etc.
Thus, we know that  chance is quite influence the feelings of someone.

So, why I'm interesting to talk about chance on this second day in 2012?

Ya, so many chance that i have gained during last year and hopefully this year I can catch and take the advantage of every chance to be a better person.
And I hope the same goes to you also.

Let's counting how many chance do you have gained for the second day of 2012 and be thankful for it.
God luck.
